After an extensive multi-year search for the perfect lot, this spectacular property became available. The previous owners had restricted the 33-acre parcel to allow for only a single home to be constructed -- perfect for our clients’ desire for space and privacy.

The first step was to assemble a top-of-their-trade group of design professionals to navigate the significant permitting associated with a project of this scale. Complexities included an extensive engineering project to protect the stream and ponds on the property while upgrading the utilities and completing a new bridge. Before construction could begin, an entire 50-year-old apple orchard was carefully transplanted to a new location. The land was then sculpted to site the new home, capitalizing on the natural topography and sweeping vistas, all while respecting the land and neighbors.

We assembled a team of the finest craftsmen to complete the interior and exterior of the home and landscaping. Each space inside the home was given a unique personality and name, echoed through the millwork and finishes of the space. Constant collaboration between the owners, architects, and Soderholm team allowed us to complete construction at an exceptional pace.
